  2. For the stray dogs, call CUPA on 2294 7300 or 2204 7307. They may take the dogs away. CUPA is known for its good work with stray animals .. for instance they have a program where they collect dogs, keep track of which road they collected them, then they sterilise the dogs, and after they are healed, will clip one ear (to ensure they don't accidentally pick up an already sterilised dog) and return the dog to the same location. This is a great idea because often the stray dogs are not aggressive or "part" of the neighbourhood and the only problem they cause are having too many puppies.

Also, after sterilisation, the dog's aggressive levels go down. So this may be a good idea for the one that bites. You said they are stray dogs, but also said that it is owned by a policeman.. ?  If it is his pet in his home, you may not be able to do anything especially if it is collared and has its injections etc.

Otherwise last resort would be to contact BMP (Bangalore Mahanagara Palike) and report a threat to children from biting dog.

  3. There is a phaser available that will really shut dogs up, I use them to stop dog from being aggressive to me.

  4. Call animal control. They will not release your name.

  5. Municipal corporation office
