Question:

Strech marks!! help?

I'm getting stretch marks on the back of my arms and on both sides of my hips!! Used to push a lot of weight in the gym and notices tiny red marks on the back of my arms, but due to circumstances out of my control, I've had to stop going to the gym. Since then, I've had the tiny marks increase in size and new ones form (below the now big ones), and one on each side of my hip!!

I'm only 16!! Should this be happening at my age??? I haven't put on any weight since i stopped going to the gym. Any recommendations to get rid of them? Or stop more from forming?? :(

  1. seems like your ur getting smaller where ur not goin to gym, i think there is a scar cover-up gel/cream that is meant to be good for getting rid/ covering up stretchmarks

    something like this

  2. Cocoa butter or vitamin E oil should help

  3. Bio Oil xx

  4. I hear bio-oil is ood for those types of things and if you pop into your local pharmacy( chemist) you can get a small botle for about £10

  5. Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.

  6. for a startstop worrying, strech marks are perfectly normal! you cant help geting them ive heard you can be more prone to develope them if people like your mum etc have them too...

they marks wil never completly disapear but wil develop into shiney whiteish lines that are less noticable

you can use bio oil to help this along

    hope this helps :)

  7. easy soution.. start using palmer's cocoa butter skin care range... works like a charm :)

  8. Sometimes when you have a growth spurt or, in your case, bulk up a bit - your skin has to stretch quickly and many teens end up with stretch marks. They start off red but soon fade into pale silvery lines, I don't think anything will totally get rid of them but there are lots of treatments to make them really faded and hardly noticeable.

Bio oil is great and is made FOR stretch marks just follow the instructions on the box.

Also, cocoa butter is great for marks and scars and will also make your skin more supple if you use it daily, this should help prevent more from appearing. I hope this helps =D
