  1. The white patches are pockets of puss (which are white blood cells)


  2. The patches are the infected throat tissue and lymph gland tissues in the oral cavity.

  3. that is the infection. Take some antibiotics, Strep can cause a lot of illness

  4. It's your body fighting the bacteria...that's why you get a throat swab.  

  5. The patches are colonies of bacteria being attacked by white blood cells.
