For the last 8 months I have been extremely stressed out at work, my boss was putting a lot of (unreasonable) demands on me, tasks to carry out etc, it wasnt possible to do everything, often I would stay on extra to finish some more, I told her I was struggling (also doing a 50 hr week), at the same time I started feeling unwell, muscle pains, lethargy, extreme fatigue, sleeping long hours, always feeling tired, no energy, drained. I would often go home and cry, worrying about what my boss would say the next day, I also couldnt stop thinking/worrying about work and also had the occasional bout of insomnia.

When i had my "bad" days, which was often I would feel so low (I also faced the unrequited love situation), but on my "good" days I was so "high" (in a non-drug like sense), I was giddy, my heart would race so fast, I would feel as if I could do anything, I worked an 11 hour night shift and felt so energetic and vibrant, where as everyone else was just knackered.

I suffered from depression for about 2 years but managed to cure myself without medication. I thought I was happy, but now I wonder if I am suffering from stress, depression, bipolar or something else? I went to the doc an he prescribed me Fluoextine (as he thinks I have Chronic fatigue syndrome), will this medication help if I am stressed or bipolar? Thanks!!
