Stress Force fervent to get first OR victory
The titles of open races hold great importance in a greyhound’s career. Stress Force has realized the fact well, therefore, he is h**l-bent to get the one by winning the Primus Telecom Derby Trial Stakes that will be run at Henlow racecourse on Thursday
night, September 20.
The C. Grasso trained black dog has proved his class in different formats of sport. He just ran one open race and finished third in it---that was the Primus Telecom Derby Trial Stakes, held on September 13.
Running over the distance of 460 meters against five worthy rivals will not be an easy task for the two-year-old novice hound, but he is likely to do it by applying his utmost firepower. He has passed through such sort of challenges before, thus, we can
expect a thumping performance from him.
The talented son of Head Bound out of In Between has constantly been on the podium since June 2012. What a marvellous record!
On June 7, the young and energetic runner won A8 460m Flat by beating the two combined favourite rivals. After four consecutive runner-up positions, the brilliant sprinter nicely gained the 4-length clean victory in an A7 race on July 27.
In the month of August, Stress Force accomplished a fabulous hat-trick of victories. The most notable one was the title of A4 460m Flat that he grossed by the mammoth margin of 8½ lengths.
The dashing dog again won an A3 race on September 7. Thus, he has an amazing track record that makes him superior to Doonane Lad who has been regarded as the hot favourite candidate for tonight’s marathon.
Stress Force will have to fight forcefully, but he is destined to win ultimately. Fanore Mac is too likely to do well in the race.
The P. Ward trained black and white dog debuted with a 9¼-length victory in June 2012. He bagged a 10½-length clean triumph in the very next outing.
The novice runner went on to register an OR success in The John Smiths Peterborough Derby 2012 - Heat 5 on July 25.
