I was told when you are stressed sometimes the adrenalin in your body doesn't cut off like it is supposed to, My blood pressure has been alittle high 155/90 or lower, mostly lower,i don't get headaches or anything. blood work is normal.most of the time if i sit for a few minutes it will be around 126/76 so dr wasn't to concerned. It has to be stress related. Is there a natural way food or otherwise anybody has heard of to lower adrenalin levels

  1. Do you do anything with that leftover adrenaline? You need to work that off with exercise, a walk, work out, swim. When your body can't 'come down' it is still in a 'fight or flight' state. This can cause damage to your heart and other organs. If you're stressed out to this point it is important that you work off that excess adrenaline.

  2. The only thing I've found to work is 20 mg daily Lexapro, 18 mg Strattera, and 200 mg Provigil.  It's not perfect but it helps me function.  When my anxiety and BP are super high, I take some Propranolol.

But my problem isn't BP but a cataplexic-type state where I fall to sleep (like narcolepsy) and a very fast pulse (my resting pulse tends to be 100- walking through Wal-mart puts it at 130).

I'm interested in the answers you receive (hopefully there will be many!)
