So..I am totally done having kids I have two. My oldest is 4 and the youngest is one. But my problem is, I can't seem to lose the weight. I am 24 years old, 5'5 and 184. I am 40 pounds over weight. I just want to know as a stay at home mom how do you find the time to work out at the end of a very tiring day and what kind of work out do you do?

  1. I still weigh 160 lbs from my first pregnancy - and my son is over a year old.  I was 140 when I got pregnant and at the end weighed 190 lbs.  I have a lot of stress in my life and I believe that it does take a toll.  I am not a stay at home mom, however working in education I have the summers off  and still don't have time to exercise!  Just remember to take out some time for yourself.  Ask your husband/boyfriend to stay with the child for at least an hour and get out, even if it is to window shop or walk around wal*mart.  Getting out of the house for a little while each week helps alot.  Or leave the children with grandparents and go on a date with hubby

  2. Leslie Sansone is a wonderful easy video you can do while one is in preschool and the other is napping. I gave an example of what I did.  I lost 20 pounds in 2 months! I also watched my eating. I ate less starch and more veggies and fruit. I drank only water or black coffee and tea. I had lean protein and low fat dairy and 2 fruits a day. My motivation was based on weighing myself once a week. The first week I lost 4 pounds! And if I cheated one day, the next day I tried again because I knew I had to be strong for my children and to be healthier. When I was feeling down and tired, exercising and Heath eating is really the answer! (and daily prayer, I thank God He was my strength all the way) Also think positive, you can do it! walk walk walk! You wont know until you discipline yourself and keep it up!
