  1. try maderma (not sure on spelling)

  2. I was told that if you take a warm bath twice a week in Dead Sea Salt that it dramatically reduces the apperance of stretch marks. I guess the dead sea salt helps repair the skin. Either way it makes your skin feel really soft and smooth and is a nice break even if it doesn't work! (I haven't tried it yet)

  3. I've been using the Clinical Stretchmark Remover from Avon, and I was able to see the difference in just 2 weeks it really helped!

  4. Time - over time they will fade.  There's really nothing out there that will get rid of them unless you have them surgically removed.

  5. I know a person that went through surgery to get rid of the stretch marks. Maybe if you really was desperate enough, you can get surgery done if nothing else works. BTW, the surgery was perfect! You can't tell that there were stretch marks before the surgery.

  6. You can't get rid of stretch marks, sorry! They'll fade with time but that's it, they're always going to be there.

  7. coca butter is only good in preventing them, laser surgery is the only way I know to remove them after you have them but it can be expensive depending on how bad they are

  8. Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.

  9. One of the most effective surgeries for women with stretch marks on their stomach from a pregnancy is a tummy tuck. The tummy tuck gets rid of extra skin and fat, making the stomach tighter and nicely shaped. In the process of this skin removal, stretch marks below your belly button are usually removed as well.

Another option is laser surgery. This type of stretch marks surgery is generally only for people whose stretch marks are still colored red or brownish. If your stretch marks have faded to more of a flesh color the laser will not be able to detect them. This surgery is effectively able to remove damaged skin and stimulate collagen growth, but may not always completely eliminate stretch marks.

Laser surgery can also become incredibly expensive. Each session can cost as much as $1000 or more, and depending on how quickly your skin reacts to the surgery, you may need multiple sessions of laser surgery before your stretch marks fade or go away.

  11. I lost a lot of weight and had pretty bad stretch marks.  I got the best advice from a worker at Walgreen's.  She suggested C. Booth body lotion.  This stuff works wonders.  I had not seen good results with other products but this stuff is great.   Here is a link to the product.  It is offered in other scents also.
