  1. Any cream that is formulated to work on strech marks can only assist with the appearance of it.

Bio oil is a good product--its sold at higher end dept stores usually.

As well, mary Kay has the TimeWise® Visibly Fit™ Body Lotion

It's the lift you've been looking for! This silky-smooth body lotion combines the benefits of our patented* TimeWise® age-fighting complex with the benefits of amino acids and botanicals. It increases skin firmness, provides up to 10 hours of moisturization, helps reduce the appearance of cellulite and spider veins, and improves skin elasticity and texture

& Basically ANY cream including Jergins Vit E cream; Vasoline's E cream.

So aim for products that are talking about kin elasticity & texture + cream for aging skin (DOve has a new one).

Go with a more expensive cream brand as the more money--usually means the better the product.

Also try the night solution with MK on the strech marks.

But also water--drinking it & taking vit e capsults and rubbing the broken capsule into the strech mark can help.

  2. palmer's cocoa butter lotion and vitamin e oil... you can get these at walmart, walgreens, cvs or any other pharmacy store you may have in your area.

True, stretch marks will be there if you have it in your family line, but  these remedies are to help minimize the appearance- it will not make them go away as stretch marks are scars....

  3. Nothing works. Stretch marks are hereditary...I asked my doc and he says thers nothing to do. Ive been using palmers cocco butter since I found out at 5 weeks. Thought it would help. No it hasnt I use it morning and night.

  4. Oh yes, i have quite a daily routine to try & prevent those & so far im pretty happy with the results. Post shower dry off a bit & leave your skin a little damp Put olive oil in your hands & rub it on your problem areas (i use it all over just in case, pregnancy can be tricky) After that dries a bit slather on some cocoa butter for stretch marks (they have it @ target) or regular cocoa butter (again at target) It sounds sticky, but it isnt Your skin will be really supple afterward

Your skin will smell & feel amazing I know its been said that creams dont help how your skin stretches, its all genetic etc, but in my experience this has worked beyond wonders Good luck :)

  5. 100% shea butter.  They carry it at the Body Shop in a large 'tub' for $20.  It's best at helping you to NOT get the stretch marks and is safe for pregnancy.  If you already have the stretch marks, there are other things that are better that you can use, but you would not likely want to use them during pregnancy.  Wait until after.  It has certain acids that will help thin the skin, but would not be good for the baby.  A doctor can also prescribe Mederma - very strong, very good, not sure I'd use it while pregnant though.
