Question:

Stretching hurts my other leg?

when i stretch my right/left leg high like im holding a kick my other leg hurts for some reason it is in the upper area near the hips i have no idea why though can someone help me please?

  1. Are you standing when you do this?

    Edit: Try stretching whilst sitting or lying and if you can do this without pain I would suggest this would be a better way to stretch. And then if you feel the need to stand with your leg raised high in the air for a long time, you could work on strengthening the muscles around your hips,


  2. u should check with ur coach or instructor, but it probably has to do something with flexibility and stability of that hip joint, i am not a sports trainer (yet) but i would say improving ur hip flexibility, might help, plus improving ur flexibility in the rest of ur legs might also reduce the pain,  

    u should go see a professional if the pain continues so that u dont risk doing real damage to ur leg
