What kind of excercises can I do to gain the flexibility of a rhythmic gymnast? I want to be super flexible so if any of you have any advice I'd LOVE to here it!

  1. My only advice to you is to stretch everyday and stretch hard!!!!! First start by putting on some like lyrical, slow, tiring music. Start by doing some jump rope or running on the tred mill until you start to sweat. This will help get the body warm. then do some stretches that youknow and stay in them for the whole song (put the song on repeat) now since the song makes you drowsy, this will make it easy to relax in your stretch. I recommend you sit down, put your legs on both sides of you and stretch forward, Now what I do is I put my hair up off my neck and I put a cold rag on it. That strretch is the most helpful and also do more strtches like that trust me it works and you wont mind doing it everyday because its a good place to  relax. Good luck


  2. ok so i took streching classes with this lady who was a rhythmic coach, and uh, strech your feet, so u can have a good arch. Also do a split with two chairs  for like a minute each side. I suggest going to a class with a proffesional. and it takes time to gain flexibility, trust me
