Stretching??

is it ok if i do a stretch session every hour like stretching every muscle which will be about an hour and then rest for a hour then stretch session rest an hour and keep doing sessions like that everyday?? it will lead to about 6 sessions a day because of school and other things..is this fine or is there a thing as too much stretching

  1. that wont hurt you. Just dont do ballistic stretching.( the kind you see on tv) where you bounce

  3. In fact you can over stretch.  There is no benefit to stretching as much as you are talking about.

    Studies done suggest you do not prevent injuries from stretching, I am not sure if I believe that, and will not stop stretching.

    What you are talking about doing will not give you any extra benefit and I am not sure why you want to stretch 6 times each day for 1 hour each session.

    Stretching twice a day should be plenty.
