FC Kaiserslautern’s new signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Itay-Shechter-c17205 has expressed his delight on joining the club from Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv and claimed that it is a big step in his career. The player now wants to prove himself at the club and is looking forward to the new season.
Shechter completed his move from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 in this summer’s transfer window.
The player stated that he is relieved on the transfer being completed and admitted that the transfer period was frustrating. He insisted that he had always dreamed to play in the Bundesliga and it will be a huge challenge for him to prove his metal in his maiden campaign with the club.
“Yes, I'm very relieved. It wasn't easy not knowing where the journey would lead me, but I always believed in a move to 1. FC Kaiserslautern. I thought the more I make myself at home here, the better the chances of staying are,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the club’s official website.
The Israeli international added that the club officials and his teammates have been very supportive in his first few days at the club. He thanked the club Chairman Stefan k***z for making sure the transfer goes through and was elated on finally joining the team.
“The lads have made me feel really welcome right from the beginning. Their support has been a great help. Stefan k***z made every effort to complete the signing, and I'm very happy that his endurance and patience have finally paid off,” the former Maccabi Netanya added.
Itay Shechter had a good scoring record with Hapoel Tel Aviv as he scored 37 times in a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Croatia-c2879 in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign last year.
