Kean has been made subject to various protests, most of them organized, by a section of supporters who blame him for the poor form the club has been in this season. The Rovers are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table as the New Year’s period
approaches.
The latest episode occurred during the 2-1 loss to Bolton Wanderers when the supporters abused the manager in the fixture that took place at Ewood Park. Yakubu described the series of events as “shocking” and claimed he did not expect that from the supporters:
Yakubu said while speaking to reporters:
“For me, it's hard. It's not good for us as players. We are all feeling it. There's always pressure when you are not winning.
I've never, never been in a situation like this before in my life. Not since I've been playing football. Calling for the manager to leave, I don't know what to say.”
Yakubu, who signed for Blackburn Rovers from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window, revealed he was hopeful the fans would return to supporting the team and the manager because their protests and abuse were just harming the team further.

The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 man admitted it was disturbing for the team to witness supporters abusing the manager and calling for his removal. Yakubu revealed it was not at all good for the squad and urged the fans to stick with the club through the tough period.
Yakubu continued:
“We arrive at the game and say, 'What is it going to be? Are the fans against us?' We just plead that they stick with the team. The situation is not good for the players, it's not good for the club.”
