In part four of this write up, we will be discussing the last two striking options for the Italian head coach. These two are the most notorious of the bunch of strikers available to the Italian coach, and Prandelli has been vocal
in his criticism of these two players.

The players in question are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Osvaldo-c28996 is playing at
AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603.
Mario Balotelli
The striker has received many plaudits for his amazing skills and physical maturity; however the discipline of the Italian has come under question on a number of occasions. He has been lambasted on many instances
by different people.
Eric Cantona came out and stated that Balotelli’s acts were calculated and he conspired to get his own way, actions which the Frenchman felt is everything that is wrong with football these days. Even Prandelli
has stated that he does not want to carry players in his squad, who will put the entire team in danger by doing something silly.
Balotelli is born to an Italian family with Ghanaian descent, and has been infamous throughout his career for being short tempered and acting irrationally. Prandelli admitted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 would be in need of
such a striker, who can make impact on the game through his ingenuity but the chances of Balotelli receiving a red card and losing his cool are too high.
This, according to the tactician, would put the whole team under immense pressure and in high profile tournaments; he wants to pick players who he knew would be calm and composed on the field.
Even though Prandelli’s thought process is admirable, at this point in time, he does not have many options at his disposal and especially one with the qualities of Balotelli.
Italy’s need for an ingenious and creative striker was highlighted in their friendly match against USA, were Giovinco and Matri failed to properly test http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tim-Howard-c35095. It was not until the introduction of Fabio
Borini that the Italian attack picked up a notch and looked threatening.
The rift between Prandelli and Balotelli seem to have clarified with the Italian head coach letting the striker know that his selection is possible if he has an impressive end to the season.
The impact Balotelli would have on the Italian team is for everyone to see, and the biggest asset that Super Mario would be able to give the Azzurri attacking line is his composure in front of the goal. He
has also been touted as the “best penalty taker” by his club shot stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 goal keeper.  He has a 100% penalty conversion record in the City colours.
Pablo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Osvaldo

Osvaldo has been at AS Roma since 2011, and has scored eight goals in his 19 appearances for the club. Even though there is no doubting the Argentine-born forward, there are huge question marks on his temperament,
with the striker getting into tussles with the opposition players on a number of occasions.
Prandelli also spoke about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Osvaldo-c28821, stating that he would be uncomfortable in fielding a player who could put the whole team in trouble.
It would be interesting to note which five strikers Cesare Prandelli would pick for the Championship in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983. The probable striker conundrum would become more clearer which strike force Prandelli
deploys in Italy’s next friendly.
