String of related dreams, help interpret?!?

Question

I recently started having a string of related dreams. It started with one then another one a few weeks after. But now i'm having these dreams at least 3-4 times a week.

There 3 or 4 kids always some girls some boys. The number changes. They are around teenager age. They are almost always in some place dark. Like a basement or an alley. They just sit there, not moving. Then someone starts comeing and they all try to hide or scream and run away. I never see the person but I have the "dream sence" that it's a guy.

What does this dream mean?

Normally dreams kinda go around how you're feeling or something that just happened to you or around you. What i got out of it was that you're scared for what might be coming up in your life and you have the feeling of running away from it all, or something has felt threatening because the screaming and the hiding kinda make me think that they are fearful of something. Did something happen in your life where you were followed or maybe even gotten in trouble?

Do you have a good relationship with your father, or is there something to fear in that relationship?  

I would look for the connection to something that frightens you in real life.

Depending on how far you choose to believe this interpretation: girls and boys represent other people.  Chasing represents a situation that a person cannot handle and therefore avoid.  Such a dream could mean that your friends have some sort of issues that they are refusing to work out maybe?
