  1. There you go.   It is not the cheap stuff.  You probably have vinyl paper up there with vinyl glue.   Not standard wallpaper paste.  I don't know why you just didn't paper over it.  Or paint over it.    It is such a mess what you got to do.   Do you think that we paperhangers wanted it to come off after we got paid to put it up.?   Nothing is gonna be fast about this one.   And you will have alot of repairing to do later.  Paint thinner may dissolve the glue, but not putting money on it.

  2. try warm water and fabric softner in a spray bottle lpray sparingly and wait about ten minutes then try scraping with a plastic! putty knife so it does't do damage to the sheetrock. if that fails you can get a steamer to remove paper and if you have to do that it means whoever put it up there didn't do it properly. if by chance you do damage the sheet rock you can buy sheet rock tape and sheet rock mud and it can be fixed put it on in thin coats then sand it the next day use wall paper primer before you use the glue and paper. and then you wont have this problem the next time you want to strip your paper and chane the look of yoour kitchen.

  3. WALL STEAMER.

  4. warm water and white vinager

    have fun

    good luck

  5. Been there done that.  Depending on what is under the paper, wood or sheet rock will determine the best treatment.  You will need to wet it as much as possible.  Let the water sit and penetrate the paper.
