  1. Usually a stroke happens when a blood clot blocks one of the major arteries pumping blood to the brain. The blockage usually increases blood pressure. The pulse rate/ and respiratory rate dropped because not enough blood wasn't being pumped back to the heart, and not enough blood to the lungs, which is why the patient had the stroke.


  2. Was it an Ischemic or Hemoraggic Stroke ???

  3. Blood pressure can be independent of pulse/respiration.  They can sometimes rise and fall independent of one another.  One person's heart might beat slower (lower pulse and therefore lower respiration) but the blood pressure can still be high.
