    The beta-pleated sheet is two or more regions of the polypeptide chain lined side by side, which are connected by hydrogen bonds between parts of the two parallel polypeptide backbones. Poly means many, so it's many nucleotides. The alpha-helix is a delicate coil held together by hydrogen bonding between every 4th amino acid. A double helix is what happens when the nucleotides link.
