Struggling Tseng learning from mistakes
Current world number one Yani Tseng, whose grim performance has been a big concern in the recent past, has said that she is trying to learn from her mistakes and this way she can regain her
lost form.
Speaking to the media at Incheon, South Korea, where she is gearing up to take part in the LPGA Hana Bank Championship 2012, the Taiwanese star said that she knows what has been taking a toll
on her performance in the recent past, and she has now decided to take an aggressive approach, making sure that she learns from every single flaw that is troubling her game.
The LPGA Hana Bank Championship is slated to be played from October 19-21, at Incheon, South Korea, with the participation of top-flight stars.
Some of the stars Tseng will likely face a challenge from, include, current world number two Stacy Lewis, Na Yeon Choi who finished runner-up  last year at the same course, Suzann Pettersen,
Michelle Wie of the United States, Shanshan Feng, Cristie Kerr, Vicky Hurst, Inbee Park and Brittany Lincicome of the United States.
Tseng conceded that seeing a performance slump after getting off to fiery start in the season was tougher than anything else, as she was not prepared for that.
“Last three months I have been learning a lot from everything, so I mean, it's kind of very tough because when you play best and you kind of struggle for three, four months, it's very difficult.
But now I kind of feel like I just want to enjoy my life and enjoy every part of my golf because this is a game I love since when I was young,” said Tseng who is the defending champion of LPGA Hana Bank Championship.
Observers said that atoning for lapses has been helpful, but Tseng has found it a bit difficult to cope with the media attention, which in turn sparks fans’ reaction.
Despite faltering on the course, the top-ranked prodigy still has what it takes to bounce back as her stunning profile is enough to keep her motivated in the coming months.
“This couple months I've been feeling so much better on the golf course. I feel I'm happier and enjoy life more instead of trying to worry about world No.1 or winning the tournament,” she
said.
