Stryker EMX-1000 (Read Details)?

Question

Okay i bought this gun and i opened the package and put the batteries in and everething.Then i decided to explore the gun and i put it down and the hammer valve(that controls the velocity) all shot out of the gun! I got all the pieces and i went paintballing the next day.I got the velocity check and the minimum of it was 311 fps and the max was 411fps.Then i got home and read the manual and reasembled the velocity thing that was shot across the room then i realized i had to put a one spacer instead of two.would this make the gun go back down to a 3oo fps please help i really like this gun and my dad said i have to return it if i dont get it to work. :( please help me!!
