While speaking to media reporters on the eve of the clash of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 in the World Cup warm-up matches have boosted his morale significantly and hoped to get the better of Dhoni and Men as well.
“Having played Australia and Pakistan in the two warm-up games, we are well-prepared to take on http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750," said the England skipper at the pre-match press conference on Saturday.
The three http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lions-c808 defeated traditional rivals Australia in their first practice match by nine runs and went on to beat Pakistan in a low-scoring encounter by 15 runs.
"I believe the match against India will be a good one. They have a huge fan following and hopefully it will be an exciting contest,” Broad added further.
The gangling Nottingham pacer also welcomed veteran http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yuvraj-Singh-c98364 back to international cricket after battling lung cancer. When asked about the ‘six sixes over’ the veteran Indian batsman had subjected him to in the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup five years ago, Broad said that he will be doing every thing possible to come out on top.
"Yuvraj is a great player and we all welcome him having made such a strong comeback,” said the 26-year-old right-arm medium pacer, commenting on Yuvraj’s comeback. “Obviously, he is one of the most dangerous players but we will meet on the field tomorrow,” he added further.
Both sides have already qualified for the Super Eight Stage, after having beaten hapless http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Afghanistan-c745 in their Group A opening matches. However, Broad and Co will be more confident after having crushed the minnows by 116 runs, as compared to India’s 23-run victory.
Whilst India boast a strong batting line-up, their bowling has been a major let down of late. But Broad said that they were not reading too much into that as he said, "We’d rather concentrate on our strengths. I don't think it's as weak as it is being made out to be ... they’ve some experienced bowlers.”
