Broad, who had already been out-of-form in the series, was highly dejected at his poor bowling in the match and his frustration was evident.
Commenting on Broad’s dissenting remarks, the match referee, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alan-George-Hurst-c42680, said, “Stuart's behaviour was not acceptable in any form of cricket, and as a well-established member of his country's national side and current captain of the Twenty20 International
team, he must take responsibility for what he says and does."
He further told, “Accepting an umpire's decision is an essential feature of cricket and part of the game's unique spirit.”
Broad has confessed his offense and is ready to face the penalty. It is not for the first time in his career that he has abused an umpire; the pacer had been punished in the past as well for his on-field bursts.
