After sustaining a sprained left ankle prior to England’s first warm-up match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 Board XI, English pacer Stuart Broad proved his fitness in the second tour match today against the Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI at the Sinhalese Sports Club

The T20 captain’s fitness was called into question after he injured his ankle by tripping over a boundary rope during a practice session. He was eventually replaced by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ST-Finn-c2566 for the first warm-up match.
Despite the inconvenient timing of the injury, the player was not sent for scans.

“He turned his ankle just before the last game started after being down to play,” Flower had confirmed yesterday, adding that the pacer would be undergoing a fitness test later in the day.
“He's been recovering okay and he will be fitness tested this afternoon. After he's had a bowl we'll decide whether we are going to play him. That decision could be made after training or in the morning when we see how he pulls up then,” he had explained.
