Stuart Clark still in Australia selection frame?

Stuart Clarke will return to domestic cricket after an enforced three-month break as a result of a back injury. But even if the 34-year-old paceman performs well for NSW, can he get back into the frame for national selection?

It seems a long shot. Australia has been able to fill the absences of the likes of Brett Lee and Nathan Bracken pretty well over their home summer, and also covered for the injured Ben Hilfenhaus. Clark wouldn’t feature in the preferred Test bowling attack if all the Australia quicks were fit, and at this stage there would probably be a few in front of him to fill any injury gaps as well.
