  1. It is time for him to go, he won't do much for his team from now on, so better to make way for younger bowlers.

  2. His experience would rub off well in state cricket?

Anyway if they select him he is obviously good enough!

  3. Ill rock the boat, I think hes a great bowler and I like his attitude cause he is not a "yes man" even though that rubs people the wrong way, and he cant get away with certain idiosyncrasies  like a certain other leg spinner cause he dosent have the rock star image, but thats the same in society too I guess. Let him be there for another season or to if he can cut it and help bleed in the new guys, he has a wealth of experience to pass on.

  4. Time for Stuey to go.  I think that the surgery hasn't been as successful as he had hoped and the control has gone.

He may have an advisory/mentoring role in the State academy, bringing on young spinners but I do hope that he decides that playing is not for him if his injured wrist stays the same way.

  5. A proper advice at a good time, McGill realise what is body capable for international cricket and as per that only he retired and will decide is future (as a coach.........?)

  6. should stick to his food&wine show

  7. He should quit for good as Jenner said. The young ones need to get plenty of opportunity to show what they can do.

  8. Well I was hoping he continues play international cricket because he would have finally get to have the opportunities he deserved as he was unable to find the place in his team earlier because they already had a great spinner in Warne. Its sad that his injury worries forced him to retire just when he was started to be acknowledged as Australia's frrontline spinner. Now that he has quit International cricket so I think its better for him to teach the tricks of trade to the younger upcoming generation of spinners..

  9. I agree give the young ones a chance to show their abilities...  Stuart had his time and I think now is the time to move on...  I also think that it was fair that the selectors gave him a little time to get that 200 wickets and to farewell international cricket in a proper way...  I think the windies tour is just to be kind to stuey actually....  no offence for the fans here..

  10. Yes i also heard this...Well what's that saying?..To me Jenner is telling MacGill to go away-and stay away..

There were statments coming out during the week saying he 'might' contemplate a coaching career..

Well i think it is time for his to just leave cricket in all forms..He has his quaint little cooking and wine show on Foxtel so he cant do 2 things at once-i say stick to what you do well-Your cooking show....

  11. Time to go.

  12. better play state cricket as  one of the best  leggies in the world right now~
