  1. Has your partner put her name on the adoption contact register? Also try getting in touch with Norcap, they provide a tracing service and also can provide advice

  2. Search the local newspapers birth, death, marriages, engagement articles.  Check the public records in the courts for misdemeanors and felonies under his name.  Also, try in the local newspapers looking at the orphans court archives for name changes listed by relatives.  Any name change must be published for public comments.  If you haven't, check this adoption board:  http://donorsiblingregistry.com   Also, try http://bastardnation.org  for advice on how to approach the birth mother if you find her.  He's just turned twenty-two, so he's probably looking for your partner also.  He needs your partner's health information.

  3. I used a man called Steven Britton to find my partners Dad after 30 years he works on a no find no fee basis at a charge of £35.

The last email address I had for him was stevenbritton@ntl.co.uk

hope this helps you,  good luck

  4. GENES REUNITED, found a whole new family here. was adopted at 2, just by putting in a few details it found loads of close relatives i never knew i had, try it

  5. Don't give up hope .Stuart Lee may not feel the need to find his birth family at this time but  as he gets older and maybe starts his  own family  then he may want or need to know about his roots. Hang on in there .

Have you  tried writing to the local newspaper in Bridge-north they probably have a column to find long lost friends. How about Social services Have you been to their fostering and Adoption department (ours is called "Family Finders")in both Wordsley, west midlands and Bridge-North   with all the information you have about his birth ask that your partners details be left on file so if  & when Stuart wants to trace his birth family he will know where you are. And if you do this make sure that if you move you update the information. Hoping for a happy outcome . Our Grandaughter was taken for adoption but we as a family were encouraged to give her photos ,write her letters & give her a history for when she grows up . We are looking forward to that time and hoping that she will want to find us.
