Stubborn scuff marks?

I've got a bowling pin I want to clean up (Don't ask why), but it has all these nasty black marks from being bowled with for how many years. How can I get rid of these marks? Soap and water didn't help. Can anyone recommend a solution?

  1. Try a magic eraser sponge.  They are in the cleaning isle at the store.  It should clean it without damaging the finish.


  2. I would try, white shoe polish. It should restore the color and have it looking like new! Good luck with your project!
