health and social care values will dictate the actions of the worker - for example promote independance the individual may value the care and want more not less care.

prof values will also include confidentiallity the cared for may not

as this is thier own choice.

care staff should also be very careful about accepting gifts from clients - clients may not understand this as they wish to be generous or show appreciation.
