Stuck between baby names, help?

Were not sure of the babies s*x but we have 2 first names for each, but not sure which is best

Why would you name a child for objects of such fleeting fame and despair?

A child should be a symbol of hope not demonic, despairing death.

The child will forever be explaining. It's kinda like carrying on the Deadhead thing.

Hi Satyrico,  are you really wanting to curse this little child with these things even before it's born. Children can be hard enough to deal with and can bring great pain without trying too hard are you wanting your little one to bring you an abundance of pain and strife?? You may be goth or think that it seems cool but this child will have to bear this strange name for the rest of their life, and will find it harder to fit in. Look elsewhere:)

Lillith would be better than Shadow, becuase she can always go with the nickname Lilly, but Shadow sounds like a superhero's name or something. Like she would go running around in Spandex tights fighting crime. Like Catwoman, sort of.

May I suggest Sammuel instead of Sammael? He might not like being named "the venom of God". You could also name the boy Holden, Crispin, Francois, or Oliver. They kind of have dark undertones rather than meanings.

I love names with mythological meanings, like Atlas (who held the world on his shoulders). It's unusual alright, but I can't say that a child would be happy with it.

I like Lilith the best for a girl. Its pretty yet it has its meaning. I think Shadow is more of a pet name. You know? My sister in law has a dog named Shadow.

For the boys I like Sammael, that way he can also be called Sam if he wants.

I love the name Lilith! It's one of my favourite names. It's a very pretty girls name with awesome mythological associations. I'd be hesitant to use this name because of the whole demon thing (Lilith was a "bearer of disease, illness and death"), but from the other names you've chosen, it seems as though you embrace darker, satanic names.

Shadow is okay. I like the sound of the name- It's reminiscent of Willow and Shiloh. But I can't shake the feeling that it sounds like the name a fifteen year old goth would use as an alias.

Out of the boys names I like Sammael. It's very eye-catching, and not in a bad way. I know the name Mictain has mythological associations, but it sounds like a drug you'd buy at the chemist to me.

The only  name I like here is Lillith. Lovely. But the rest of your names are terrible. I applaud your effort to be unique here, but you don't want to call a kid something that sounds like a medicine name.

Please don't call your child shadow, I think its kind of pretty but they will get bullied/teased for that name for all their lives.
