Stuck on a number/letter quiz. Please help...

Hi. Got a quiz to do with questions along the line of 1FTR = 1 for the road. I have to get the rest such as 7S on a FPP? Has anyone any idea what this kind of puzzle is called so i can search for some cheats? ha ha. Any help would be grately received. Thanks.

It's called an Equation Analysis Test.  Will Shortz created the first one for Games Magazine years ago.

Search on "Equation Analysis test" and you should find the original along with many follow-ups.
