Question:

Stuck with green carpet stain after using "Ladybug" steam cleaner...

In a nutshell.....about 2 weeks ago my dog had a diarrhea attack on my cream carpet. I knew it would clean up fine with my mom's new "Ladybug" steam cleaner, so I borrowed it from her and went to work. Using a Ladybug basically entails tying a rag on the end of the wand and scrubbing it using super high steam power. It didn't cross my mind, however, that the rag my mom had on the Ladybug was hunter green colored. So, after much scrubbing, the diarrhea was completely gone -- but I was left with a pale green stain from the dye in the rag. I tried switching to a white rag to clean the green stain, but no luck. I'm scared the green is really set in the carpet from all the super hot steam. Any advice would be wonderful!

  1. Take a white cloth, soak it with "Greased Lightning" and blot it on the stain. Wipe/blot with warm water and repeat the process.

    It should come right up.
