Ok so I'm not looking to breed or anything but I fell in love with this guy when I saw him do a dressage freestyle and I was kind of curious about how much his stud fee would be. Any ideas? What do ya'll think about him?

Heres his profile

  1. I would say atleat 5 to 6 digits of numbers he is beautiful though. His movement is amazing he looks like he is legit floating.good luck with him if you chose you are going to use him!

  2. His page reminds me of the pages of really nice horses for sale. You know the ones where they dont even post the price because for the people looking at a horse that nice money is no problem. I am guessing a rather large stud fee. Five figures probably.

  3. Just to give you an idea....some racehorses stud fees are as high as $300,000.  This is just for one breeding to the horse.  The foal could turn out horribly ugly, have terrible conformation, etc.  Some reiner's stud fees are as high as $40,000.

I show in Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle, and a resonable stud fee for the stuff I compete against is around $2000.

So, seeing all that, I would expect an accomplished dressage stud to be at least $5000 - $15,000 depending on breed, etc.

  4. Oh boy, probably a whole lot. Yeah, like the poster above me^^ the price probably isn't readily available because it's a 'private treaty' and may even change depending on which mare he was bred too. Stud owners do that sometimes.

  5. OMG he is the most beautiful horse!!!! i want a stud out of him too! i bet you wuold pay anywhere forom £300 - £500, maybe more. i dont know you would have to get in touch with the owners.

  6. Very nice! The words "Privet Treaty" come to mind because it would cost so much if they told out loud you would pass out ......=D

  7. I would guess about €1,000 - €2,000 but you should e-mail and ask if you are curious. Donnerhall is €4,000 so there is no way he is more than that. http://www.sporthorse-breeder.com/ics/st...
