  1. The EFC is your Expected Family Contribution and seeing that your EFC is 3060, you are expected to pay $3,060. The Federal Pell Grant is a form of financial aid that you do not have to pay back and if you are eligible for a Pell Grant you are guaranteed a certain amount of funds depending on what package you qualify for, for your situation check out the link below.

I'm not sure of your age, but it sounds like your most likely a dependent student and you had to include your parents information, because with you only having income from social security your EFC would be a lot lower. So if you are a dependent student and your Fafsa only includes your information, you might want to get it checked out by someone at your school to check it out.

In the mean time you should start applying for scholarships because there are a lot out there and especially for those of us with disabilities.

    Hope this helped good luck.

  2. The EFC is your Expected Family Contribution. Since your EFC is 3060, you are expected to pay $3,060. The Federal Pell Grant is a form of financial aid that you do not have to pay back. If you are eligible (have financial need) then you can get up to around $4,000 I believe.
