  2. Hi, have fun on your htrip!..

  3. Congratulations on being nominated! I was in China for 16 days Nov. 2007.  I went with my cousin who adopted a baby girl.  My cousin paid my airfare and hotel cost, so I can't answer costs about that.

But, I had to cover my food and souvenir costs on the trip.  I took with me about $600.  I think that I converted about $300 to Chinese money and converted a little more later on.  But overall I was pleased that what I took with me was enough to cover me for 16 days.  We spent 3 days in Beijing, then went to Nanchang City and Guangzhou.  The prices in Beijing were not bad.  My cousin had told me that food was pretty cheap over there.

The adoption agency scheduled our tours so I'm not certain how much it actually cost to visit the Great Wall....which is difficult to climb btw...but such an awesome sight to see!!!  I know you'll have a great time!
