Student Bus Pass?

Question

I am a high school student (age 15) and I would like to purchase a buss pass. My problem is, I don't know exactly how this system works. Is there a discount for students? What are the buss stickers placed on the pass for? I'm confused can someone please explain all of my concerns and if possible even more.

well i had a bus pass at age 13 and there is discounts for age,dissabities stuff like that and it depends where u live at

Usually if you have an updated student ID card or picture.  They will grant you a reduced fee.  In our town its 50cents for students & senior citizens

Each city has different rules.  In NYC, you can get it for free IF you live far from school. But not at all, if you live in walking distance.  Not an option.

so what city do you live in?  Ask your school teacher.

Of course you can always get regular full fare ticket any time.
