Student Council Ideas?!?!?

ok so were planning to have a meeting and i want to have really good ideas were looking for things to do since we have no money, were planning to have a pep rally the first friday (pep rally ideas)

plz any other ides plz suggest

other than pies bake sale and car washes

you could have a talent show and charge people like $2 to get in.

my school did a fashion show once.

student council is a blast!

idk about your school, and what it allows..

but, some things i would suggest would be...

* back to school dance

* homecoming dance

* sadie hawkins dance (those are always a blast!)

* "spirit week" @ homecoming week (each day has a diff theme. game night being school spirit, ect.)

* powder puff  !

* See You At The Pole

* sell candy at lunch (buy in bulk at sams or costco)

* talent show

* winter dance

* spring fling

* valentines dance

* send a candy cane to someone for $1

* "crush" (you let people buy those crush sodas and send them to people, orange for friends, red for loveeers, purple for like, ect. then at the end of the week, you get to see them)

* dress down days (pay like $3)

* kiss the pig (you'll have to ask me about that one haha)

that's all i got for now, i probally forgot 1/2 of the stuff we did    :)

* oh yeah! pep rally ideas:

- have a spirit competition between the grades

- mattress racing! it sounds lame, but it's really fun! (get volunteers from each grade, blow up an air mattress for each one and have one person sit on it, and two people carry it, and have races around the gym)

- dance off

- musical chairs

Have a blind auction. Around Black Friday (when stuff is cheap), but different items such as a camera, PS2, and other things. Put them all in equal size boxes and wrap them. Have around 10-15 items. Then auction those items off to kids. You don't tell them what is inside, though.

Have a dance, and have everyone pay 2 dollars to get in, and charge one dollars for pictures. Buy decorations for under 75 dollars. Then have everyone bring one can of food. Save half the money for SC, and donate the other half. And donate the can goods.
