Student Mentoring, anyone done it/doing it???

I just got a letter from my uni asking for Student Mentors...

I havent done it before but do want to - has anyone done it before and do they know what its like?

Like a typical day with a Secondary school student????

  1. Get yourself some little square glasses and a cain and I'll call you miss. lol


  2. I have done. If you know your subject well you will be appreciated and treated with respect--at least I was at the time: Departmental Tutor, Geology, Astronomy, General earth/physical sciences
