I am currently studying abroad with AFS in Italy. I have a visa for six months. I would like to not be part of AFS anymore. Does anyone know if it is possible to stay in Italy and go to school for my last couple of months or would the only option be going home...

  1. It depends on if you continue to study or not. Since your visa is a study visa, you need to be studying, or there could be some big problems. So, if you decided to quit studying, you'd need to go to the nearest Embassy of your country and change your visa to a travel or work visa (depending on which you're doing, if you're not studying). Why don't you want to study with AFS anymore though? You don't have much time left though, why not just stick it out? I'm studying in Poland right now.
