Student Visa for Germany?

I live in the UK and I would like to move to Germany to continue my studies, my problem is I’m not from EU and I don’t know if I have to return to my country to apply a visa for UK or I can apply here in the UK I mean in London in the german embassy

Please if somebody have information please tell me I don’t know really haw to do and I have already had my inscription in a german university

  1. Yes, you must have a visa, and yes, if you are legally living in the UK, you may apply at the German embassy in London.

    For visa information, call the Visa Department on 0207 824 1465 or 1466 Monday to Thursday between 13:30 - 15:30 or Friday between 13:30 - 14:30.

  2. Depending on where you are from you might not need a visa. The best idea is to check with the German embassy in London and tell them that you are already accepted at the university in Germany. They will sort you out.
