  1. you dont say where you are so i have posted this site for you, also contact you local student union for info, and bus depot/train staion. good luck

  2. Try a 16-25 railcard.

One off payment but works out cheaper in the end.

  3. I think they have young person card at the station, but I'm not sure whether they do it anymore because of the recent changes in ticket prices.

  4. You Only Get A Student Card If Your Studying In College, If You Are Go To The Reception Or Library And They Tell You Everything. I Think You HAve To Fill In a Form.

  5. You can get an NUS Associate or Extra card, or a UCAS card, so long as you are staying on in education post-16. These will get you discounts on anything from haircuts to clothes in shops where they offer student discounts (but not bus or train tickets)

First Bus do a student card which gives you prices that are somewhere inbetween child and adult fares.

You can also get Student Railcards (as mentioned by other posters).

London also has Oyster cards, you can google them for more information, but they are cheaper than buying fares otherwise, whatever your age.

  6. I second Rosie's suggestion about the Young Persons' Railcard.

For me, one return trip from Aberystwyth to London was all that was needed to save more on that card than it had originally cost.

National Express has a similar card for coach travel. But I don't know whether or not their routes are suitable for the place where you live:

  7. hey..i have an NUS card and that can be used for quite literally anything whether it be the cinema, mcdonalds and quite alot of the hightstreet stores. It also gets you discounts on travel although ive neva actually used it for that.

    www.nusextra.co.uk

go on this link and there's all the information you need about how you can apply and what you can do with your new card

    good luck x

  8. go to your train station and ask for an application form for a young persons railcard...
