Student visa for France?

Has anyone gone to the French Consulate in NYC to get his/her student visa? How long did it take you?

are you a US citizen ? and how long did you intend to stay in France?

i have not time frame to give on the waiting time.

hopefully you are already accepted in a school in France? otherwise you will be short on time , for school starts soon .

but do go read on what you will need to study in France, unless you have already applied and know it .
