Students Attending NYC Public Schools?

my peeps and i are moving there. can you tell me about their reputation , etc.? r the suburban schools that much better, as in alot of cities? pl let me know your overall experience =]

There are well over 1,000 public schools in NYC./ They vary greatly in the areas that they serve and in the quality of their education. In general though the average suburban school is better than the average city school although there are many exceptions.
