Students Promoting The Arts group - ideas for logo/t-shirt design?

I'm stuck. Anyone have any design ideas/links to inspiration?

As a group, we are high school students who promote the arts (music, drama, film, dance, visual etc) to get youth more involved (children and teenagers)

Check out the site of deviant art.

It is packed with art created by ( mostly ) young people.  As you are young yourselves, you know better than anybody what you like, what is cool, and, above all, how to speak the language of your peers.
