  1. Are you attending classes at UT (University of Toronto) or Queen's?  If you're attending their main campus, yes- it's in downtown Toronto.  Since housing in downtown isn't cheap, a suggestion is to look outside the downtown core close to the TTC/Subway.

UT also has a campus in Mississauga.  Ryerson is out in the 'burbs.

The university may have recommendations or even arrangements with certain apartment complexes/billeting.

There are numerous apartment/high rise buildings in the GTA.

    Good luck!

  2. Depends where you're going.

University of Toronto St. George or Ryerson University -

Anywhere downtown ($$$) or north along the TTC subway if you're looking to save money (Cost/Commute Ratio)

    University of Toronto Mississauga -

    Mississauga

    University of Toronto Scarborough-

    Scarborough

    York University-

Either in North York, Thornhill, or Woodbridge

To Leafsfan: Ryerson is Downtown, Queen's isn't even in Toronto.

  3. i find that a lot of students rent downtown toronto just because it's close to everything so mostly downtown.
