Piermario Morosini’s death has engulfed the footballing world in tragedy, which has given rise to reports being unveiled on the probable causes of such an
incident.
A research was conducted in Siena regarding the difference between the functioning and differences in the hearts of normal people and professional football players. It was
a three-year research which gathered information over the course of the study and came to it's conclusions recently.
The research had started at the start of August 2009 and the study was done by AC Siena in collaboration with a renowned cardiology clinic in Santa Maria alle Scotte hospital,
and they made their research public. The issue had come to the spotlight after the collapse of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabrice-Muamba-c13216 on the field of play, but the striker was resuscitated back to life by the hospital and has been making his recovery ever since.

Where Muamba was lucky to have survived this incident, Morosini was not so lucky. The Italian was declared dead after he was taken to the hospital from the Pescara-Livorno
match.
One of the researchers on this project, Andrea Causarano mentioned that they had made a breakthrough in determining the functioning of top athletes in comparison to sedentary
people.
Professor http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Mondillo clarified on the findings and stated that the heart has different muscular characteristics which are only prevalent in athletes plying their trade
at the top level. He mentioned that the athletes would be able to organise their training schedules and regiments accordingly. He further stated:
“This is important when optimising training to improve performance with great focus on health. These observations were presented at various Italian and European cardiology
seminars. In football players, the cardiac chambers and muscular mass of the heart are enlarged, with ulterior incremental improvements in the functional capacity of the organ.”
The repairing system for inactive and active people were different and with further testing they assessed that different signals were given by the body of two individuals.
He mentioned:
“With further tests on stem cells in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 players, we also noted how intense training or a sedentary lifestyle provide a different stimulus to the production of
stem cells and therefore probably different mechanisms for self-repair.”
The death of Morosini would definitely lead to more http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vigilance-c40891 in medical check-ups of the players and such findings would prove beneficial for the clubs in protecting their
players.
