Studing English in summer in England?

Question

I want to go there in summer. I should stay in a family, shouldn't I? Is Eastbourne a good place?

I have studied abroad and i loved my host family. I think it was so rewarding it was worth more than the "school" was. But then again i went to a japanese HS and didnt speak japanese... go figure...

Eastbourne is very well-known as a retirement resort. By this, I mean expect to find many, many old-age pensioners there. You could even go so far as to say it's full of them!
