Studing in america,for foreign students?

I am going to study in america,but i am not from there.The uneversity that I will study is in florida,actually sarasota,but i need some opinnion about life there,and something more about that?

  1. There are a decent number of international students in Florida, and many, many people living in that state who are not from the US. Personally, I've never been to Sarasota, but I've been to Florida quite often. It's an interesting place. Life there can be less expensive than elsewhere in the US, and many people have moved there recently due to that fact. The winters are very mild (compared to where I live), but the summers can be brutal - very hot and humid.

    I suggest you get a tourist guidebook, like the Lonely Planet or the Rough Guides, and look up Florida, and Sarasota, to learn a bit more about it from an outsider's perspective.
