Study Abroad(UK, Ireland or France)?

So I've finally come to a decision that i will most likely be going abroad to the UK, Ireland or France on a month long homestay with CCI.

Have you ever studied abroad in any of these countries? If so, please tell me anything you possibly can about what you discovered while there. Or if you hosted a student from these countries. Information about your host family, religious customs, common activities that go on, anything at all, really! Even if you didn't study in the UK, Ireland or France, please provide any information about your trip as well. Or if you hosted an exchange student from another country.

I ask this, because i'm torn between the three, and I want to figure in which place might be the most suitable, even though I know studying abroad requires leaving my comfort zone, oh well.

Please and Thank you, etc.

  1. i would definately pick the UK, but it depends on what you're looking to get out of the experience. my sister and her fiancee used to live in london and i visted a couple times.  it was wonderful, but pricey (the exchange rate is bad because the US $ has been losing its value).  you can also visit ireland during your stay there and you can take the train (www.RailEurope.com) or the channel tunnel to france; however, if you go to france you will learn another language. it will be hard at first, but it's the easiest way to learn because you're actually immersed in the culture and language.

it all boils down to what you're looking to gain during your experience!
