Study In US after 2 years of engineering, in India?

I am currently doing my first year in Computer Science engineering here in India. I would like to complete my engineering course in United States. I have heard about the transfer programs, but i really don't have any substantial information regarding the whole process.

Here are my queries:

1. What are pluses and cons of this journey?

2. Writing SAT and applying for a good college be enough?

3. What are the chances of getting into a well established college in US?

1) Pluses, a better education and better career opportunities. Cons, the financial burden and missing your home, friends, family

2) You will need proof that you graduated from high school, TOEFL scores and SAT scores. You will also have to provide financial proof that you can afford the tuition.
